I love punk fashion. I love the colors, the skulls, the hardware, the plaids, and the general rebel look of it all. The only issue I have is will it be too rebellious to carry everywhere. While I want my bag to be individual I want it to be versatile enough to be used in any type of situation whether I'm shopping, out on an inspiration walk, or turning in job applications. I'm not sure about all employers, but I personally wouldn't take myself as seriously handing someone my resume out of a bag covered in spikes and skulls. I'm odd like that.

Say what you will about Lolita style, but to me it's a thing of beauty. I love how it has a style of whimsy and childish delight while at the same time being elegant. That's a very hard mix to come by. I'm always taken by the elegance of the style, but while that's my reason for loving it it's also a reason to be wary. With such a nice bag I feel like I'd pale in comparison, but on the other hand it could give me the incentive to do more with myself so my bag doesn't look better than I do. It's an unusual conundrum.

The dark, the mysterious, the creepy, the ornate. I love Gothic fashion. In fact I love Gothic architecture, music, art, and anything Gothic in general. It's the serene type of beauty that is so beautiful it's both intriguing and scary at the same time. While I do love Gothic fashion I often have a hard time working between the line of subculture standard and professional standard. Recently I've been addicted to a blog I found called Sophistique Noir which shows cool ways to breach that gap. Alright I'm starting to ramble so off I go to sketch up some nice purse idea's. Wish me luck!
