Wishlist: Support & Saving

Today I opened up my YouTube account to see a barrage of video's supporting a website called FckH8.com. This website is basically about  support for the gay community, and being against hate towards it. As a member of the LGBT community I always love to support so I jumped on the idea of purchasing a shirt/hoodie/etc. to support the cause. Unfortunately that couldn't happen.

I'm terribly broke, and couldn't really afford any of the t-shirts,underwear,and other items listed which made me pretty bummed out. Hopefully I'll be able to save up and get something, but till then I decided to do a LGBT wishlist round up. The first thing I got was from one of my favorite drag queens Raven:

I love the little hat in the picture, and especially like how the volume of the hair is distributed. With my natural style I'm trying to experiment with shifting the volume of my hair with pins, combs, and sprays. I don't think I can pull off the bow look, but the hat might be something that's a bit more mature. I can even jazz it up with different fabrics, and add on's to it if I feel particularly glitzy. Maybe adding some nice tulle to drape from it, adding flowers, putting studs and gems along it, or even just hanging a few pearls from the brim would make them more individualized.

The next piece I got into was from the lovely Lady Gaga

I fell in love with these gloves when I first saw them <3 I love finger less gloves, but these are pretty much just skeleton gloves. I've done something like this as a posture collar, but I never thought to design a glove like that. I'm not sure if I want to do it out of leather, but I think that would be the best option. If I do this I'd love to put a big hardware zipper through the center on the back of the hand to give it a bit of an edge. Well... that and so I can get in and out of it. I love zippers with exposed teeth <3

Hopefully these projects will tide me over while I pine over the various items on the FCKH8 website. Though who can resist the allure of a pair of panties declaring in bright metallic letters "Born This Way"
